Beau was not even born during the time that we were looking for our family dog. Certain that we wanted a golden retriever, we went through the process of checking out a few puppies. The minute we saw Beau in the back of a pick-up truck, snuggled in a kennel with his brothers and sisters, we somehow just knew that he was the one.
